My daughter Sophia's first word was dada and now she pretty much has graduated to saying (read, screaming) daddy. For the most part her vocabulary is skyrocketing :D mama, daddy, papa (we're latino so that means food), dingo (the dog), and most importantly she knows to say NO. Often.

Sorry to hear your son's going through hell with his ears. My wife had that really bad when she was a baby and her brother actually had to have the tube procedure yours is going to have. Hope you folks start enjoying restful nights again and everything goes great (as it should)

Re: Eli’s first word

WOOT!!
